A Singapore Rainforest Engagement Session

When G reached out about an engagement session in Singapore over the 2025 holidays, there was zero hesitation to me saying yes. As my little brother’s best friend since their primary school days, G has become like a brother to me too. Being able to celebrate his and S’s engagement even for just a brief hour (with my brother and their other best friend present) was so incredibly special. :’)

Fun fact: G & S work in conservation of Singapore’s nature areas, and we got quite the nature lesson during this engagement shoot as they pointed out all the plants we saw along the way, the animals (a monitor lizard! sadly, no monkeys were present that day) & the many different bird calls that greeted us during the hour. Our shoot eventually took us to a beautiful quarry setting with towering rock faces covered in lush greenery.

Los Angeles has become my home over the last 15 years and counting, but Singapore was where I grew up, where my family still is, and where I’ll always consider home.
