We are thankful to have found Pam randomly on Instagram while browsing #bigbearelopement. We were looking to have a micro-wedding at a cabin in Big Bear, CA. Not only did Pam just recently list her BEAUTIFUL cabin on Airbnb, but she also is an insanely talented elopement photographer. It was meant to be. We did an engagement session with her and got to experience how comfortable she makes her couples feel and how her work genuinely depicts authentic relationships. She is so professional, responds immediately, and goes above and beyond to scout locations. She communicates so well and is prepared with plans A/B/C/D. Before our wedding, our plans changed due to CA forest closures because of fire restrictions. Pam communicated these changes with us before we had the chance to panic and found multiple alternative sites. The place she found ended up being even better than the original plan! Our wedding day was perfect. She captured everything exactly the way we imagined and more. She came up with a timeline that had our goals in mind and the day felt relaxed. My family adored her personality and are obsessed with all our photos. Not only did Pam send sneak peeks, but she also delivered our photos incredibly quickly. Pam is a gem. I have already recommended her to couples and multiple people have seen our photos and have asked for her contact information. You will not regret booking with Pam. I adore her! We booked Pam to document our elopement in Joshua Tree which couldn't have gone better. We appreciate all the things Pam did for us. If you are looking for an elopement photographer, you just found it - and that is Pam! In fact, in Pam I found more than a photographer: I found a person that wanted to know me and partner more so our photos truly reflected us; I found a person that makes sure every detail is perfect even if this means spending more time working; I found a really talented photographer that puts her heart on everything she does, even small things, and that makes a difference. Me and my fiancee had Pam shooting our engagement pictures at the beach. My fiancee was afraid she would look weird because she is not used to being photographed, but after looking at our pictures she was so impressed. Pam captured us better than we could imagine! Our pictures look so natural and not at all posed. Also, we had the best time while shooting because Pam made us feel so comfortable. She was always checking to see if we were liking it and asking if we had any ideas or if we wanted a specific type of photo. Later that same day, Pam gave us our first sneak peek and we were just in love with her work. She did not take long to give us all the photos and when she did I just wanted to post all of them because GORGEOUS. We used one of the photos for our Save The Date and we also printed an album with all of them so we can keep it forever. I was looking for a proposal photographer that had experience in the RPV area and after a fruitless search through thumbtack and Yelp, I decided to search through different RPV proposal hashtags on IG. Out of the dozen or so vendors I reached out to, not only was Pam the most responsive but she was also the most personable and eager to help. She was the perfect mix of professional (through her quick emails, sample portfolio, and even the fact she had a contract for her services) and casual (happily gave location advice, provided plenty of proposal suggestions, and even did a wonderful location scout with me where we walked through the proposal step by step). On the day of, Pam went above and beyond. She showed up early, helped with the setup, gave me specifics on where to stand, and took way more pictures than I could’ve ever expected. I’m beyond pleased with the pictures we’ve received and in awe with the artistic creativity behind the shots. She really captured our best selves on our best day and I am extremely grateful for that. Overall, Pam was a pleasure to work with and I absolutely cannot recommend her enough.
